Some useful contacts…

Here are some people who can help make your wedding celebrations something special

VENUES

I am happy to provide celebrant services anywhere in Tasmania, but here are some great venues to consider, on the list because I know they are great places to tie the knot.

Bangor Vineyard and Oyster Shed (Dunalley, Tasman Peninsula)

A personal favourite. I officiated at my eldest son's marriage here, in the vineyard. The reception was in the restaurant afterwards. Great people, great venue, great food and great wedding organisers, made it a perfect wedding.

Bangor Vineyard and Oyster Shed now offers an on-site luxury accommodation option for you and your guests, through Glamping Co Tasmania (see contacts below). Book through Bangor.

To book the venue and arrange the reception contact Kate:

Willie Smiths Apple Shed - (Grove, Huon Valley)

A rustic and wonderful venue in the heart of apple country, the verdant Huon Valley. Home of the Mid Winter Fest. A creative and welcoming staff who will make sure your wedding celebrations are bliss.

Contact Ellie for venue and reception bookings:

Henry Jones Art Hotel (Hunter Street, Hobart)

Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens (The Queens Domain)

A spectacular venue, on the Queens Domain, with a number of locations offering shelter, while still being outdoors in the beautiful gardens. Another personal favourite, as I worked there as Education Officer for 9 years. Great location for weddings, naming ceremonies, vow renewals, from Spring to Autumn. There are also a couple of suitable venues for facilitated community workshops and training courses (see “Other Services”).

Succulent Restaurant - Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens

Right in the heart of the beauty of the Gardens, Succulent can provide a reception for up to 100 people, with great food and wine options, and is the obvious location for your reception after a wedding in the Gardens.

Contact Niall and the Succulent team:

Birchview Gardens Allens Rivulet

They will provide hay bales for seating if you like. Great location for relaxed small ceremonies and elopements. Steve and Lynette are keen to make your special day very special.
