Making a complaint
I hope that my services as Marriage Celebrant reflected the importance of your marriage and the way in which you wished to conduct your wedding.
If however, you believe my conduct has been unprofessional, you are able to make a formal complaint.
The Attorney Generals Department advises:
If you want to make a complaint about a Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant, you should consider:
· whether you can settle the matter directly with the celebrant
· that we do not have the power to make a celebrant refund money
· that your complaint may be refused if it is not made within three months of the event.
